The thing with working in the garden or just chilling outdoors is that it’s thirsty work and going back into the house to get a cold beverage is too much like hard work. The ideal solution is to have all your drinks to hand, chilled of course so all you have to do is drink and be cooled. This enamel “chill” comes complete with a bottle opener so you don’t need to move to quench your thirst, it has 6 spaces for your favourite drinks and looks great to boot. You can find these at various places on the net, I found it at Garden trading where they also have one in a string colour.

Nested tables are a great way to save space and have the flexibility of somewhere to have a coffee or eat in front of the box. However not all nested tables look as good as this offereing from Marks and Spencers, normally they are a dour affair not really adding anything to their surroundings. These tables were actually found under “bedside tables” on the M&S site which shows the versatilty of nested tables around your home.
The Tables are made from smoked glass and have a deep brown finish with a modern Italian design.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is world famous for it’s TV / Radio programs but not it’s homeware. Now if the truth be told I didn’t even know the BBC had a shop let alone a section of said shop dedicated to homeware. Well it does and you can see for yourself and in the shop I found this little treat.
For all Doctor Who fans this Cyberman AM/FM radio will be a great addition to the geek collection , and best of all it’s made for the shower so you will never have to be without Doctor who. It’s magic trick is eyes that light up when switched on , and how is this possible well “because of the unique way the BBC is funded by you ” .

Handcrafted from Thai solid Mango wood, these set of vases, bowls and decorations from panopoly.co.uk are stunning. For all those of you who love a wooden mantle piece or home decorations, these will really make a corner of a room stand out. The wood they are from is due to cutting down of Mango trees and the makers claim that it is a better use for the trees rather than to just let them burn.

There is one thing that is certain in the world of homeware, every home needs towels. They are an essential part of the daily routine. A walk along the isles of any homeware section of a store will have you staring at rows and rows of neatly stacked towels in all their various colours. It can be quite mundane.
That cannot however be said of the designs of Cath Kidston, with bold prints adorning her entire range. These bath towels are no different with large floral prints really bringing what is essentially a boring part of your home alive.

I am not a big fan of nuts, you can chew on them all you want – but they just don’t seem to do it for me. This is not to say that a lot of people do not enjoy nuts and or enjoy cracking their own nuts too. Normally nut crackers are something like a pair of pliers and you simply put the nut in the middle and squeeze.
However modern design once again re-writes the rule book with the Blomus nut cracker (Panik Design). The concept here is ls simple, put the nut in the bottom half and screw down with the handle and there you have it – cracked nuts.

When I was growing up in the 80’s everyone had a vacuum jug and to be quite honest they were ghastly little things. Apart from the rather less then appealing looks, there was the fiddling around with the top just to get it open so you could have the hot beverage of choice.
The classic Stelton vacuum jug fixes both these problems. To begin with there is no denying it looks stunning, secondly it puts paid to the fiddling with the top business. It has unique rocket stopper which opens when you start to pour and closes when you put the jug down again, genius!

They’re pink, pearly and fun and a very kitsch way to present your napkins to your dinner guests. Their manufactureres maybe more famous for the TV or for their trains, but Virgin are now even branching into homeware. For £20.00 you can expect a set of four these napkin holders as well as a little extra detail to your dining experience. When creating a stunning home it is quite often the small details that make a home really special.
There is nothing like lounging around in your front room or living space as the more trendy amongst like to call it. A professional lounger needs a companion someone or something to understand his / her every need to be able to help get that prefect lounging position. This red leather pouffe from is the ideal alternative to the sofa, you can lounge on the floor with your head on it or use it just to sit up on, I think you get the idea.
Simply put it looks good and is very verstitle.

If you are a football fan like me you will love this coat rack. What better way of reminding you about the offside rule than the “offside coat rack”. Although I spent quite a while trying to work out which one of these players is offside I couldn’t quite get it – so no different to understanding the real offside rule then.
With screaming references to the table son of football, fossball, the rack comes with five red or five green players and a polished aluminum casing. Scandinavian company Huest-Shop have truly come up with a great product.
